Our mission is rooted in the belief that every individual and family, regardless of their background, deserves a chance at a brighter future. Through our refugee sponsorship and settlement services, we aim to provide comprehensive support that extends beyond the initial stages of arrival.

Supporting Refugees with Compassion and Commitment

At North-Am Immigration & Settlement Organization, we believe in providing a lifeline to those seeking refuge, ensuring a seamless transition and a fresh start in the welcoming embrace of Canada. With a steadfast commitment to humanitarian values, we have successfully sponsored and settled over 80 families since 2021, transforming their dreams of a new life into reality.

  • To date, our organization has settled more than 170 cases (Application/UCI numbers). These cases have been settled in various locations in the province of Ontario and out of the province. We have been successful to provide them the utmost necessary settlement services, introducing them to the relevant settlement agencies for LINC classes, enrolling their children to school, providing career enhancement opportunities by enrolling the adult members to educational institutions to continue their education for better career path, etc.
  • From 2022 to date, we have received more than 126 G numbers which majority of these G numbers have received approvals from the respected IRCC Officers. Their applications have already been processed which most of them have arrived to Canada.
  • From 2020 to date, our organization has been a pioneer partnering with other community based sponsoring entities to jointly sponsor and support vulnerable needy refugees from outside Canada. We have received more than 29 G numbers in joint collaborative efforts with other community based sponsoring groups/entities.
  • To date, we have assisted more than 19 G5 group sponsorship, Spousal sponsorship, OYW Program, in-Canada refugee claimant application and post-application for PR. The services have been in preparing their applications, filling out the forms, providing legal advise, and helping them to submit the applications to ensure the applications are submitted and met IRCC/PSR-G5 guidelines and requirements.
  • Since 2024 to date, we have represented around 10 G#s, including the OYWP and under the special program(s) introduced by our respected IRCC for the refugees under the IRCC/PSR program.
  • Our organization has helped and assisted the orphans in Tajikistan and Afghanistan. The Institution has been very active in the field of humanitarian assistance and work. Recently, we have completed fundraising for two Afghan families, one of whom has the sick child with skin cancer disease. The second one has lost the father and the family has nothing to survive. In addition, we have helped number of newcomers here in Toronto including their transportation, guidance and provided counseling for settlement. We have also helped number of refugees in employment and finding jobs elsewhere. Recently, North-Am has supported another vulnerable family who’s been having Alzheimer condition residing in Herat, Afghanistan.

  • Our organization has gathered amount of support as part of the community enhancement inside and outside Canada. Moreover, we are in the process of gathering financial support for another family who is in desperate situation residing children of the family has skin cancer. We have already pledged the amount of $1,895 willingly gathered from the Afghan families here in Canada to help the treatment of this sick-child.

  • We are in the discussion phase to have another project jointly with Sunrise Meat & Sausage to help some families who are here in Canada. They need job and stable income. Our organization & Sunrise will work jointly on a mechanism to create job opportunities for the newcomers who are already here. Moreover, our organization will be in the possession to hire newcomers who are willing to work in our property management/suites business, Car Dealerships, or the cleaning business under the Property management.

  • Our organization will be providing online and in the class training, especially focusing on the newcomers who are willing to learn and integrate within our Canadian societies. In addition, the training and development will be academic for career enhancement and development of the newcomers to have a better and sustainable career startup in Canada. We will be also providing other ordinary adaptability training courses to our clients, FREE OF CHARGE.

  • Our organization has registered a wholesale dealership to buy and sell vehicles to other wholesale and retail dealerships and businesses. In addition, we are committed to help support the newcomers specifically by providing affordable vehicles.

  • Our organization has been in contact with manufacturers to import wheels/tires to Canada and sell in wholesale to other businesses. These activities are all the part of the community development. With both these projects, we previously created 14 new jobs in 2023, which to date about 8 of them are already occupied by the newcomers that we have sponsored to Canada. The remaining jobs will be available for Canadian residents, purely in 2024/25.

  • Our organization’s efficient team and efforts, we have also established highly productive and effective partnership with other community organizations. This partnership has been in-placed to ensure the highest success rates of settlement services and integration of the refugees sponsored by our organization. In addition, we are very lucky to have pioneer business owners of the Afghan and non-Afghan communities in many regions of the province of Ontario who have already pledged their utmost support financially and providing manpower, accordingly.
